Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. All apps run straight in the browser, without signing up. For the Lead Clock you only log in with the name and password of your ItsBlue timers. In Callzone you set your own password when you start a shared session for several tablets.
What devices do I need?
A current browser is enough. Callzone runs on an iPad, laptop or big screen; the TI Calculator is made for phones. For the Lead Clock you need the ItsBlue timers. You control them from a phone, tablet or laptop, and any device with a browser can be a display.
Do I need internet access?
Callzone and the Lead Clock need an internet connection, because they are live-connected to results.info and the ItsBlue timers. The TI Calculator also works offline once you have opened it and added it to your home screen.
Where does the data in Callzone come from?
Straight from results.info, for DAV and IFSC competitions. You only enter the event ID from the address, for example 2101 for dav.results.info/event/2101/. Callzone only reads the data and never changes results. The display refreshes by itself every few seconds.
Can I use several tablets or displays at once?
Yes. In Callzone you start a shared session. Every tablet that opens the link follows the same plan, and only someone with the password can change it. With the Lead Clock you connect as many displays as you need via the display link.
What data is stored?
As little as possible. Settings and logins stay in your browser. Shared Callzone sessions live only in the server's memory, the password is never stored in plain text, and they are deleted after a day without use. The TI Calculator does all its calculations on your device.
What language are the apps in?
Callzone is in English so it works at international competitions too. The TI Calculator switches automatically between German and English. The Lead Clock is in German.
Does the TI Calculator decide when an athlete restarts?
No. It is a tool for officials that works out times according to the rules. The decision always rests with the President of the Jury.
Where can I get the timers for the Lead Clock?
From ItsBlue (itsblue.de). The Lead Clock is an extension that lets you run two of these timers in parallel.
I found a bug or have an idea. Where do I send it?
Email me at info@comptools.cloud. The tools are built from real competitions, and feedback goes straight into them.
